Mobile Detailing FAQ.
Everything Mesa drivers ask before booking. Pricing, services, vehicle types, service areas, what to expect — straight answers without the upsell.
Pricing & Cost
7 questionsMobile detailing in Mesa starts at $100 for an Express Exterior and goes up to $1,000 for a 2-Step Ceramic Coating on a larger vehicle. Most customers land between $220 and $350 for a Full Detail. Book online to lock in your service in under 60 seconds — no phone call required.
Express: Exterior $100, Interior $150, Full Detail $220. Thorough maintenance work — hand-wash, vacuum, surface clean, basic sealants. Lasts 1–2 months. Executive: Exterior $200, Interior $250, Full Detail $350. Adds clay-bar decontamination, premium long-life sealants, deeper interior steam work. Lasts 4–6 months.
XL surcharge covers the additional surface area, third-row seating, lifted height (requires step-stools and longer reach), and longer interior shampoo time. Suburbans, Tahoes, lifted F-250s, Sprinter vans, and 3-row Sequoias all fall into this category. The surcharge is flat, not percentage-based, so you always know what you're paying upfront.
No deposit required. We invoice on completion — pay when the work is done. Cash, all major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, and Zelle accepted. Book online here in under 60 seconds.
None. Every service price is posted online with all surcharges (XL, lifted, third-row) shown upfront. We don't run "oh by the way" charges on the day of service. The price you see when booking is the price you pay. No shortcuts. No excuses.
Yes — fleet pricing and recurring-service contracts available for businesses with 5+ vehicles, monthly maintenance schedules, or dealer prep. Contact us directly for custom pricing — fleet quotes don't go through the standard online booking flow.
Tips are appreciated but never expected. Our pricing is full and fair — tipping is purely up to you. If you'd rather, leaving a Google review goes just as far for our small Mesa business.
Services & Packages
11 questionsExpress is a thorough maintenance detail — hand-wash, vacuum, surface clean, basic spray sealants. Lasts 1–2 months. Executive adds clay-bar decontamination, premium long-life paint sealants, deeper interior steam extraction, and trim restoration. Lasts 4–6 months. See the full feature comparison on the Full Detail page.
Interior only if your paint is fine but the cabin needs a refresh (road-trip aftermath, pet hair, food spill). Exterior only if your interior is fine but the paint is dusty, dull, or spotted. Full Detail bundles both and saves you $30–$50 vs. booking separately — what most customers pick. See Exterior, Interior, or Full Detail.
Express Exterior: ~1.5 hours. Express Interior: ~2 hours. Express Full: 3–4 hours. Executive Exterior: ~2.5 hours. Executive Interior: ~3.5 hours. Executive Full: 5–7 hours. Ceramic Coatings and Paint Correction need a full day. XL/lifted vehicles add 30–60 minutes. You don't have to be home — most customers leave the keys and run errands.
Yes. 1-Step Ceramic at $500 bonds a hard, hydrophobic layer to your clear coat — water beads off, dust resists, gloss deepens. 2-Step Ceramic at $1,000 includes paint correction first to remove swirls and defects before the coating goes on — that's the deepest gloss and longest protection we offer. Ceramic lasts 2–5 years vs. 4–6 months for standard sealants.
Yes. 1-Step Paint Correction at $500 removes light swirl marks, oxidation, and minor defects. 2-Step Paint Correction at $1,000 uses separate compound and polish stages to address deeper scratches and heavier swirl. Both are typically paired with a ceramic coating or premium sealant to lock in the results.
See the full add-on services page. Common picks: Pet Hair Extraction, Headlight Restoration, Water Spot Removal, Ozone Treatment for smoke and odor, Engine Bay Cleaning. All add-ons can be bundled with any base service when you book.
Yes. Light pet hair is included free with any interior detail. Heavy or embedded pet hair (long-haired dogs, daily transport) gets the dedicated Pet Hair Extraction add-on. We use specialized rubber tools that pull hair out of the carpet weave that vacuums alone can't reach.
Yes — Ozone Treatment generates ozone gas that breaks down smoke molecules at the chemical level (not just masks them). For best results pair it with a deep interior steam extraction (Executive Interior) so we deep-clean fabric first, then ozone-treat the cabin.
Yes. Our Water Spot Removal add-on uses a mild acid-based product to dissolve mineral deposits, followed by a paint sealant to prevent recurrence. Mesa hard water from sprinklers and monsoon storms is the usual culprit. Best to catch it before the spots permanently bond.
Yes. Headlight Restoration sands off the oxidation layer, polishes back to clarity, and applies a UV sealant to keep it from coming back. Arizona sun yellows lenses faster than just about anywhere — most Mesa commuters need this every 1–2 years.
Yes. Light swirl marks get knocked out with 1-Step Paint Correction at $500. Deeper defects or heavier swirl need the 2-Step at $1,000. For everyday swirls without going full correction, our Executive Full Detail with clay-bar plus premium sealant dramatically reduces visibility.
How It Works
8 questionsThree steps: (1) Book online — pick your service, vehicle, and time slot in under 60 seconds. (2) We arrive at your driveway with all gear, water, and power. (3) You get a clean car. Pay by card, Venmo, or cash on completion. No drop-off, no waiting room, no upsell pressure.
No — most customers leave the keys and go about their day. We text when we arrive, when we start, and when we're done. Final walk-through can happen together or you can review photos when you get back. Pay by card or Venmo without being on-site.
A standard outdoor hose bib and outdoor outlet are ideal — most Mesa homes have both. If yours doesn't, let us know when booking and we'll bring a generator and water tank as backup. Apartments and condos can sometimes use shared hose bibs in courtyards — we'll work with whatever your setup is.
If a monsoon or active rain is forecast, we proactively reach out 12–24 hours ahead to reschedule — no penalty, no rebooking fee. Light cloud cover is actually ideal for detailing (sealants cure more evenly without direct Arizona sun). During monsoon season we keep an eye on the radar.
Same-week availability is usually open across Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, and Tempe. Weekend slots fill first — book early for Saturdays. Scottsdale and Phoenix are also routed daily. See real-time availability here.
Cancellations made 24+ hours ahead: free, no charge. Same-day cancellations: a small rebooking fee may apply since we'd already routed our day. Weather-related reschedules: never charged. Rebook online or by text — easiest is replying to your booking confirmation.
When booking, you pick a 2-hour arrival window (e.g. 10 AM–12 PM). The morning of the appointment we send a text with our actual ETA — usually narrowed to a 30-minute window once we've checked traffic and the previous job.
Yes — 7 days a week by appointment. Saturdays fill first because everyone wants weekend service. Sunday slots are usually more open. After-hours and late-evening appointments available for fleet customers and special cases.
Mobile vs Other Options
6 questionsFor most people, yes. You don't lose 4–6 hours waiting around or arranging a ride. The work happens at your home or office while you're doing other things. Quality-wise the work is identical — same products, same training, same attention to detail. The only edge a shop has is climate-controlled paint correction, which we handle just fine in your driveway with a pop-up shade.
A drive-through car wash is a 5-minute cosmetic touch-up with harsh detergents and rotating brushes that swirl paint over time. Real detailing is a 2–7 hour deep clean with hand-wash, decontamination, sealants, and interior shampoo. Different work, different products, different result. See Exterior Detailing for the contrast.
Yes. A Full Detail can add $500–$2,000 to your sale price by improving photos, removing odors, and making the car look years younger inside. Used-car buyers focus heavily on cleanliness as a proxy for how well the car was maintained. The ROI is reliably positive — especially in the East Valley used market.
Absolutely. Older cars often respond dramatically to detailing because they've accumulated years of grime nobody's properly addressed. A high-mileage interior steam extraction or paint clay-bar can make a 100K-mile car look 30K miles younger. Often the most rewarding cars to work on.
Express tier: every 1–2 months for maintenance. Executive tier: every 4–6 months for full restoration. Mesa cars need more frequent service than other climates because of UV intensity, dust, and monsoon runoff. Daily-driver commuters often do quarterly Express plus an annual Executive — or just a ceramic coating to stretch intervals.
Standard detailing won't remove an active ceramic coating. The clay-bar step in our Executive tier will remove old wax and degraded sealants — that's intentional, since we apply fresh sealant after. If you've got a ceramic coating you want preserved, mention it at booking and we'll skip the clay-bar.
Vehicle Types
6 questionsAbsolutely — luxury sedans, SUVs, and wagons are routine for us. We use leather-safe conditioners (no silicone-based products that damage premium leather), pH-neutral wash soaps, and fine microfiber to avoid swirl marks. Some of our regulars in Scottsdale and Gilbert drive European luxury daily.
Yes — Teslas, Rivians, Mustang Mach-Es, Lucids, and other EVs are detailed the same as any vehicle. We're careful around charge ports, frunks, and high-voltage components. EV-specific tip: we recommend the Executive tier or a 1-Step Ceramic for the panel-gap-sensitive Tesla paint, which shows swirl marks more easily than most finishes.
Yes — F-150s, F-250s, Tundras, RAMs, lifted off-road builds, contractor pickups. XL and lifted surcharges cover the additional surface area and reach. Bed cleaning, bed liner protection, and step-stool detailing of high mirrors are all included in the base service. Plenty of Mesa contractor trucks in our regular rotation.
RVs and boats: yes — we offer dedicated RV/Trailer and Boat services through our booking system. Motorcycles we don't typically take on. For specialty vehicles, just reach out with photos and we'll quote it.
Yes — pre-return cleaning is one of our most common service types. Most lease companies inspect for cleanliness as part of the wear-and-tear assessment, and a Full Detail before turn-in can save you several hundred in cleaning charges. Full Detail is the typical pick.
Yes — dealer-prep, wholesale lot prep, and trade-in cleanups available at fleet/commercial pricing. Volume discounts kick in at 5+ vehicles per month. Contact us for dealer pricing — separate from retail.
Service Areas
5 questionsMesa (every neighborhood), Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, Scottsdale, Apache Junction, and Phoenix. See the full service area map for ZIP codes and coverage.

Yes — we work with East Valley apartments and condos all the time. Just need access to an outdoor hose bib (most complexes have shared ones in courtyards or near parking). If your complex doesn't allow car washing on-site, let us know — we have backup water tanks and can arrange to meet you at a nearby driveway, parking lot, or office.
Often yes — just ask. We occasionally service Queen Creek, Gold Canyon, San Tan Valley, Paradise Valley, and other outlying East Valley areas at the same pricing. Call (480) 336-9295 or email us if you don't see your area listed.
Trust & Safety
4 questionsYes — fully licensed and insured for mobile detailing operations across Maricopa County and the surrounding East Valley. Liability insurance protects your vehicle and property while we work. Insurance certificates available on request for property managers, HOAs, and fleet customers.
Absolutely. If something isn't right when we leave — or you spot something within 48 hours — call us and we'll come back to make it right at no charge. No fine print, no "satisfaction within 24 hours, void after that." Just real follow-through. No shortcuts. No excuses.
Yes. We use professional-grade products: pH-neutral wash soaps (won't strip wax or sealant), water-based interior cleaners (no silicone gloss that fades over time), leather-safe conditioners, and microfiber-only towels. No abrasive brushes. Safe for matte paint, wraps, and ceramic-coated finishes — just mention any of those at booking.
No — locally owned and operated out of Mesa, Arizona. Every customer interaction, every detail, every quote goes through our small team. No call center, no corporate scripts, no franchise fees baked into pricing. Mesa built. Patriot strong.

Yes — reschedule any time up to 24 hours ahead with no fee. Reply to your booking confirmation text or email, or call us. Same-day rescheduling may incur a small fee since we'd already routed our day, but weather-related reschedules are always free.
Yes — gift cards available in custom amounts (we have a $100 starter card on the booking page). Great for birthdays, anniversaries, retirement gifts (especially for a recent retiree's pride-and-joy car), or as a thank-you for someone who lent you their vehicle.
Yes for fleet customers, and case-by-case for individuals. The most common arrangement is a recurring quarterly Express tier with an annual Executive — keeps your car looking fresh year-round at a small overall savings vs. ad-hoc booking. Contact us to set up a recurring schedule.
