The rules that apply when you book with us — written to be read, not to be skipped.
Patriot Auto Detailing provides mobile automotive detailing, including interior and exterior detailing, paint correction, ceramic coating application and related add-on services. All work is performed at a location you provide — your home, workplace, or another site where you are authorized to have vehicle work carried out.
We are a detailing service. We do not perform mechanical repair, body work, paint refinishing, glass replacement or upholstery repair, and nothing on this site should be read as offering those services.
Bookings may be made online, by phone or by text. A booking is confirmed when we confirm it — a submitted form is a request, not a guaranteed appointment. We will contact you to confirm the date, the service and the price.
Appointment times are estimates within a window. Detailing durations vary with vehicle condition, and we would rather finish a job properly than leave to hit a clock. If a prior appointment runs long we will contact you.
Outer parts of our service area operate on scheduled route days rather than same-day availability.
You are responsible for ensuring we can lawfully perform work at the location you provide. Where an HOA, landlord, property manager or building requires permission for contractor work on site, obtaining that permission is your responsibility. If we are asked to stop by a property representative, we will stop.
You agree to provide:
Our vans are self-contained and supply their own water and power. We do not require your hose or outlet.
We reserve the right to decline or stop work where a site is unsafe, where slope or clearance prevents the work being done properly, or where a vehicle contains biohazardous material we are not equipped to handle safely. In those cases we will explain why and, where no work has been performed, no charge applies.
Prices published on this website are starting prices for standard-size vehicles in ordinary condition. Larger, lifted and heavily soiled vehicles carry additional charges reflecting the additional time and materials required.
Any charge beyond the published price will be confirmed with you in writing before work begins. We do not add charges after the fact. If the vehicle turns out to require more than quoted, we will tell you and let you decide before proceeding.
Payment is due on completion of the service. We accept major credit and debit cards, cash, and common digital payment methods. A receipt is provided for every service.
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. That notice lets us offer the slot to someone else and keeps our route day workable. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, and appointments where we arrive and cannot access the vehicle, may be subject to a fee. Ceramic coating appointments occupy a full day and are scheduled around a cure window, so we ask for as much notice as you can give on those.
We may reschedule for weather where conditions would compromise the work — rain during an exterior detail, or wind during a ceramic coating cure. We will contact you and offer the earliest available alternative. No charge applies to an appointment we reschedule.
If we arrive and cannot access the vehicle or the site, we may treat the appointment as a missed appointment.
We inspect the vehicle with you before beginning. That walk-around exists to identify pre-existing conditions — rock chips, scratches, dents, cracked trim, worn or failing clear coat, stains, tears and prior repair work — before any work starts.
Detailing can reveal pre-existing damage that was previously hidden by dirt, oxidation or old dressings. Removing years of buildup can expose failing clear coat, faded repairs and paint defects that were not visible beforehand. Exposing a pre-existing condition is not the same as causing it, and we are not responsible for damage that existed before we began.
Where we identify a surface we believe cannot be worked on safely — clear coat that has begun to fail, for example — we will tell you and decline that portion of the work rather than proceed.
Detailing is cleaning, protection and paint refinement. It does not repair damage. Specifically, no service we offer will repair rock chips, scratches that have penetrated the clear coat, clear coat that is peeling or delaminating, cracked dashboards or trim, torn or split upholstery, dents, or mechanical faults.
Paint correction removes a portion of the clear coat to level the surface. Clear coat is finite and cannot be replaced. Where a vehicle has insufficient clear coat remaining, we will decline correction rather than risk burning through it.
Results vary with the condition of the vehicle. We do not guarantee that any particular defect will be fully removed, and we will give you an honest assessment before quoting rather than after.
We carry insurance appropriate to performing detailing work on customer vehicles at customer properties. Documentation is available on request.
If we damage your vehicle or property in the course of our work, tell us immediately — ideally before we leave the site, while everything can still be inspected. We will work with you in good faith to resolve it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use, loss of value, or lost time.
We are not responsible for personal property left in the vehicle. Please remove valuables before your appointment.
We may photograph vehicles we work on for portfolio, social media and marketing purposes. Photographs are of the vehicle, not of you, and we do not publish license plates or identifying details of your property. If you would prefer we not photograph your vehicle, tell us and we will not.
Reviews you choose to leave on third-party platforms are governed by those platforms. We may quote or link to public reviews.
By providing your phone number when booking or requesting a quote, you agree we may contact you by phone and text about your appointment — confirmations, arrival updates and follow-up about the work performed.
Where you have opted in, we may also send occasional promotional messages. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time by replying STOP or telling us directly. Opting out of promotional messages does not stop messages about an appointment you have booked. Message and data rates may apply.
